About Recreational Gymnastics
Gymnasts are instructed in all aspects of men's and women's artistic gymnastics.
Emphasis is placed on tumbling, large motor skills, balance, hand/eye coordination, and development of upper body strength.
Maverick trains all levels of students on the womens 4 Olympic events and the 6 mens Olympic events respectively.
Classes are held for 1 hour - 1 day a week. Additional hours available also.

Rising 4th thru 8th grade

TA5 & 6 year old girls (no experience)
Girls will develop "listening skills" and will learn the proper way to develop skills as well as improve muscle structures and hand eye coordination.
TB 5 & 6 year old girls (previous experience only)
Girls will be able to improve their skills as well as their muscle structures. The expectations for listening, following directions and learning will increase.
G-1 A 1st - 3rd grade girls (little or no experience)
Girls will learn the proper way to develop skills as well as improve their muscle structure and flexibility. They will learn to listen, follow directions, take turns, and have fun all at the same time.
G-1 B1st - 3rd grade girls (previous experience only)
As the girls move into this level they will be able to improve their skills and their muscle structure and flexibility. Learning is enhanced by their listening and ability to work a series of training stations and strength stations.
G-1A/B1st-3rd grade girls combination class (with little/no experience and experience) "Gotta start with my friend"...
Girls will be able to improve their skills as well as their muscle structure and flexibility.
G-2 C4th - 6th grade girls (experience and no experience)
Girls will be able to learn and improve theirs skills as well as their muscle structure and flexibility.
BOYS B-1/21st - 6th grade boys
Boys will be able to learn new skills as well as improve their muscle structure and flexibility.

Recreational Gymnastics
"An Adventure in Fun" Recreational classes for ages 2- 18 Most students take one day a week.

Emphasis is placed on tumbling, trampoline, jumps and development on upper body strength.
